2. Collection and storage of personal data; type and purpose of use thereof

When you access our website at www.bock-anwalt.de, information is automatically sent to our website's server by the browser being used on your terminal. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called logfile. The following information is, without your involvement, stored until it is automatically deleted:
 

    • IP address of enquiring computer

    • Date and time of access

    • Name and URL of accessed file

    • Website from which was accessed (referrer URL)

    • Browser used and where applicable your computer's operating system and the name of your access provider.

The data referred to are processed by us for the following purposes:
 

    • Ensuring that the website's connections are established smoothly

    • Ensuring convenient use of our website

    • Analysis of system security and stability, and

    • For further administrative purposes

The legal basis for the data processing is article 6 (1) f) GDPR (General Data Processing Regulation). Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for the collection of data. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of establishing your identity.

3. Use of the Google Inc. product Google Maps

By using this website, you consent to Google, its representatives and third parties recording automatically gathered data. The Google Maps terms of use can be found under “Google Maps Terms of Use”.

4. Rights of person affected (data subject)

You have the right

    • under article 15 GDPR, to require information on your data processed here. You can in particular require information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged period of storage, the existence of the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to such processing, the existence of the right to lodge a complaint, the source of your data if they were not collected here, also about the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and where appropriate meaningful information about the details of such processing;

  • under article 16 GDPR, to require rectification without undue delay of inaccurate personal data on you stored here, or completion thereof;
  • under article 17 GDPR, to require erasure of your personal data stored here, except where the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  • under article 18 GDPR, to require the restriction of the processing of your personal data in cases where the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject the erasure of the data and we no longer need them, but you require them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or where you have objected to the processing under article 21 GDPR;
  • under article 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to transmit the data to another controller (responsible entity);
  • under article 7 (3) GDPR, to withdraw from us at any time the consent which you have given. As a result we will no longer be allowed to continue, in the future, the data processing which was based on that consent;
  • under article 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For this purpose you can as a rule contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or work, or our law office.

5. Right to object

If your personal data are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest under article 6 (1) f) GDPR, you have the right under article 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data if reasons are present which result from your particular situation, or if your objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without need of grounds relating to a particular situation.

If you wish to make use of your right to withdraw or object, it will suffice to send an email to widerspruch@bock-anwalt.de.

6. Data security

During a visit to our website we use the widespread SSL protocol (secure socket layer) coupled with, in each case, the highest encryption level that is supported by your browser. This is normally a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support a 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit technology instead. You can see from the closed representation of the key or lock symbol in the bottom status bar of your browser whether a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form.

For the rest we make use of appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional tampering, partial or total loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved to keep pace with technological developments.

This data protection statement is currently up to date and is effective as of May 25th 2018.

The further development of our website and offers related to it or changes in statutory or official requirements can make it necessary to amend this data protection statement. The most recently amended statement can be accessed on our website at any time and printed out.
